Are you ready to talk about something that’s critical to the success of your orthodontic practice? I’m talking about the people – your team members who work hard every day to make your practice run smoothly.

Now, I’m sure you have some amazing folks working for you, but are they in the right roles? It’s time to ask yourself some tough questions and figure out if your team members are where they need to be.

Here are three crucial questions you need to be asking about each member of your team:

  1. Do they WANT it? Passion and enthusiasm are essential for any job, and your team members are no exception. Do they genuinely want to be in their role, or are they just going through the motions?

  2. Are they a CULTURAL FIT? It’s not just about their skills and experience – they need to fit in with the overall culture of your practice. Do their values and work ethic align with yours and the rest of the team?

  3. Do they have the CAPACITY? Can they handle the workload and responsibilities of their role? Are they able to keep up with the demands of your practice?

Take a moment to write down your leadership positions, then ask yourself those three questions for each person in those roles.
